RE: Has the Scary Dairy been torn down?
I have heard the same thing, yesterday I tried to find it with a group of friends but could not find the walk way through the dairy because the bushes were talling than us. Sending me directions to the place to find it at night will be pretty helpful because I am willing to check if it is still there and I never actually been by the place... |

The Dairy in Santa Paula right?....I heard that it was granted a historical landmark status since it was built in the 20s..... |

RE: Has the Scary Dairy been torn down?
The Scary Dairy is on private property. I have not myself been there as I will not trespass, but have studied others folks photos. The smaller building shows nothing special, but the old barn or what is left of it does have purple plasma in the side structure. I found this right away and there had been a hanging there as well, so that may have established the PPEN originally. Lots of bad things have happened there including other murders and it is by the site of the old Hospital so a very bad area. If you can secure a permit to conduct research this would be a great yield, and remember to concentrate on the old barn structure, as it appears to yield the most PPEN. It is very crazy at night. I wish I could have taken pics but had no camera. I did go over the fence and in to the area and I belive it has alot of paranormal activity. I was 18 now 32 and it was very odd. You could feel your skin tingling and want to leave you. It was very crazy you could feel the atmosphere around you. It was like a hundred spirits wanted to talk. If you do go there you will be escorted away by either ventura countys finest or by some guys in black suits with no ID. We got the the no ID black suited guys they had heavy armorment so be very very carefull. I understand the site is now a historic lanndmark with NO access!!. Not sure how the goverment can claim a historical site then grant 0 access??? I wonder what they have found??? |

RE: Has the Scary Dairy been torn down?
I see this question was posted awhile ago but has had no real answer. "Scary Dairy" (Lewis Ranch) in Camarillo still stands as of April of 2010. The property is owned but the county now and while the small airstrip is there and open to some small remote controled airplanes club, the gate on weekends is normally open. When i was there this year, there was several families and hikers out for a stroll on a hot day and probably 10 or so at the air strip. I had no issues parking near the gate like many others did. |
